How to report someone on video chat
Leave the call before you argue. Report is for abuse, scams, illegal asks, and anyone who may be underage — not for a boring match.
Order of operations
- Leave or next so the call ends.
- Use report when the product shows it.
- Keep a screenshot only if you need it for support later.
- Do not continue on another app because they insist.
On GoChatCam, mute / leave / report sit next to the live controls. The safety guide lists them in product language. Skip for non-abuse dull matches is covered in skip / next.
What is worth reporting
- Threats, hate, doxxing, or sexual content involving minors
- Scams: gift cards, crypto, “verify my account,” payment apps
- Recording or sharing the stream without consent
- Illegal goods or clear fraud pitches
Full ban list: community rules. Coins that are real stay in-product — see coins.
What is not a report
Different language, awkward silence, or a face you do not like: next is enough. Report exists so serious harm has a path; flooding it with “boring” makes it harder to act on real cases. Broader safety framing: is random video chat safe.
